Biya promises to crush Anglophone Liberators after October 7 poll

The flag bearer of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement(CPDM) to the October 7 Presidential election, Paul Biya, has promised to crush those he termed Anglophone liberators after he wins the October 7, 2018, Presidential election.

The incumbent President made the revelation in Maroua, Far North Region on Saturday, September 29, while launching the party’s Presidential campaigns.

He condemned orchestrators of insecurity in Cameroon citing terrorism and secessionists’ movement in the South West and North West Regions, which he promised to crush in the days ahead.

While wooing supporters, the CPDM Presidential candidate promised the people of the Far North Region the construction of social amenities, improvement of energy supply by boosting solar and hydro energy. He equally said there’s an ongoing project to start the exploitation of minerals in the Region. He also promised the recruitment of agricultural experts. He reassured the people of Maroua of his commitment to better the lives of the people and the extension of the railway from Ngaoundere to Ndjamena through Kousseri in the Far North.

The CPDM flagbearer applauded the people of the Region for their support and resilient in fighting Boko Haram, which to him was the greatest challenge.

He equally said together they will achieve more thus begging the people for another chance to facilitate the reconstruction of the Region hit by the activities of Boko Haram.

It should be noted that this is the ninth time Paul Biya is visiting Maroua.
