Leg of GSS Agborkem’s Principal amputated

Mamfe(National Times)-Doctors have amputated the leg of Agbor Tabe,  Principal  of  Government Secondary School( GSS) Agborkem, Manyu Division, South West Region of Cameroon.

The leg of the Principal was amputated after gunmen shot him on the school campus early last week as he was crusading for effective school resumption across the trouble-hit  Division.

The National Times gathered that medics at a health facility in Bamenda, North West Region resorted to amputating the leg owing to the enormous damage the victim suffered following the gun attack from unknown gunmen.

Agbor’s attackers are said to have surfaced on campus and opened fire on his legs. He was abandoned in the pool of blood until when he was rushed for medical attention.

Besides shooting the school administrator on the leg, the authors of the attack also warned the principal that if he continues with his school resumption crusade, he might not live to tell the story.

Before the attack, the victim had participated in meetings which administrative authorities in Manyu held to ensure that children return to school. After the meeting, Agbor is said to have gone on air during a shift of broadcast in a local radio justifying reason why children must be allowed to acquire education.
