The Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon, Ferdinard Ngoh Ngoh has instructed the newly appointed Minister of Public Contracts Ibrahim Malla Talba, to continue as the Director General of SONARA, while also serving as Minister of Public Contracts, according to document seen my National Times News.
“Based on instruction from the President of the Republic, I have to honour to ask you to continue your duties as the Director General of SONARA, until a new Director General”, Ferdinard Ngoh Ngoh said.
Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh made the request on the Wednesday, the 9th. National Times could not immediately confirm why the government is yet to find a suitable candidate to repalce Mr Talba Ibrahim at SONARA.
Mr Talba Ibrahim was appointed last week as the The Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic in Charge of Public Contracts. His duties at Public Works includes: launching invitations to tender in collaboration with ministries and relevant ministries.
Awarding public contracts and monitoring their implementation on the field in partnership with ministries and relevant ministries; participating, where need be, in the financial plan of public contracts in collaboration with ministries and relevant ministries.
