Former Indomitable Lions Conscripted Into FECAFOOT

Yaoundé(National Times)-Former Indomitable Lions Players, Solomon Olembe and Bill Tchato, have picked up new appointments at the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) following two decisions made public  by the head of the country’s football, Seydou Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya, Friday, January 18.

According to the appointments, Bill Tchato is the new National Teams Coordinator for teams at all levels. Tchato, a former head of the Samuel Eto’o Foundation in Gabon will thus be in charge of coordinating the daily operations of football selections at all strata across the country.

On September 1, 2018, the Normalisation Committee of Barrister Dieudonne Happi, appointed Tchato as team Manager of the Indomitable Lions.

Tchato’s successor at the position of Team Manager is Salomon Olembe.

The appointments are among the first which the new FECAFOOT boss is making since his election mid December 2018.

Sceptics have however continued to predict that, ace skipper; Samuel Eto’o Fils is still polling the strings from behind the scenes to implant his protégés in the Federation.
