Four Persons, Five Cars Burnt in Kumba Hospital Arson

Kumba (National Times)-At least four burnt  corpses have been recovered from the razed apartments of the  District Hospital  in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon that went up in flames around 1 AM Monday February 11 The National Times has learnt.

Two of the four corpses are said to have been identified while the others are yet to be identified as the population continues to wail over last night’s incident.

The deceased are known to be patients who were under treatment at the health institution when fire breakout. Their identities are yet to be revealed

Added to the human losses, five cars have equally been discovered burnt following the same incident. It is unknown if the cars are those belonging to the hospital or personal vehicles of officials serving at the public health facility.

Details on what transpired leading to such level of burnings are yet to be established. In the meantime, there has been no official statement from any official related to the incident. A statement is still awaited from the authorities of the institution and the Prefect for Meme Division on the incident.
