Prime Minister Promises To Handle Staffs’ Infrastructural Challenges

Yaounde (National Times)-Cameroon’s Prime Minister Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute has  assured staffs of services attached to his officer that, their worries of infrastructural  shortages will be handled in the shortest possible time to enable them continue to give  their best in serving the state.

Dr. Dion Ngute  took the commitment shortly after touring the concerned services in Yaounde  on Thursday March 14 to personally evaluate their working conditions  and proffer solutions to render the services efficient in public service.

“The impression I have is very positive. The priority services of the Prime Minister’s office is quite impressive. There are quite  many modern structures… and there is quite a   lot of work being done to make the staff comfortable. I think in the short medium term, the issue of office will be resolved”.

The PM said the visit  was for him to  know personally know the working  conditions of the personnel.“ so I should know exactly where they are working”. The renowned academic and diplomat also visited some projects under construction to house staffs of some services in the near future.

Appointed on January 4 this year to head Biya’s first cabinet after the October 7th, 2018 elections, the Prime Minister and head of Government has been on an offensive to make the government more productive.
