National Times (Yaounde) – Participants today would be rounding up with the 7th edition of the International Conference on Single Window of the African Alliance for Electronic Commerce (AACE).
The conference has focused on unleashing the trade and investment potentials of land lock countries in the Central African Monetary and Economic Community.
The conference was organized by the AACE an organization created to promote the concept of national and regional Single Windows in line with international standards.
The event saw speakers from global organizations including the UN, the World Bank, the AU Commission, Alibaba and Jumia to discuss the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The event took place at the Yaounde Congress Center.
So far, the event has focused on issues related to trade facilitation, opportunities and challenges of single windows implementation and initiatives to enhance the supply chain, specifically for landlocked countries in the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (Cemac).
