Developing: Gunshots Erupt in Fiango, Traders Shutting Down Shops

A man who pleaded for anonymity said “my wife was just sent back home from the market. According to her explanation, self-proclaimed soldiers invaded the market asking all to go back home if they love their lives”.
Shockingly, movement is still flowing across the metropolis. The same scene happened yesterday. Life is expected to pick steam back in the hours ahead as has been the case in the last days.

Outrage Over Slaying Of Pastor, Others In Widikum Crossfire Despite Separatists’ Amulets

The PCC pastor is not the first man of God that has died under controversial circumstances within the context of the Anglophone crisis. In July 2018, a Ghanaian missionary Apostle Isaac Atoh was shot dead in Batibo under murky circumstances.
Within the same 2018, there was the killing of Reverend Alexander Nougi Sob in Muyuka Sub Division, South West Region. There is the murder of Fr. Ontari Cosmas of Kenyan nationality in Kembong, Manyu Division, South West Region in the last quarter of 2018. In the case of the Kenyan priest, Bishop Andrew Nkea of the Diocese of Mamfe accused the military of killing the missionary. Added to these is the case of American Baptist missionary Charles Truman Wesco killed in Bambui on October 30, 2018 under difficult circumstances. Within the same year, another pastor in Kumba popularly known as ‘Pastor Tom’ was fired at on a ghost town day under unclear circumstances.
