Bamenda (National Times)-The family of the American Missionary, Charles Wesco, who was shot dead in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, will travel back to Indiana, USA, on Saturday, October 3, 2018, The National Times has learnt.
Wesco’s wife, Stephanie and their eight children have already left the North West Region for the nation’s political capital, Yaoundé. They plan to fly back to the US on Saturday, Dave Halyaman, an assistant pastor at Believers Baptist Church in Warsaw, Indiana told the press.
He added that the body of Charles Wesco is expected to be flown back to the US by the end of this week for a funeral in Warsaw.
It should be noted that Charles Wesco, age 44, was shot while sitting in a car in Bamenda. His wife and his son were also in the car when he was whacked in the head.
The church sent Charles Wesco to do missionary work in Cameroon.
